About me

From BCI Innovation Labs to Dajcor Aluminum—I build software and production systems with the same standard: quality first, then speed.

I approach every project the way I approach the production floor: understand the constraint, protect quality, and make sure the result holds up under real use. At BCI Innovation Labs in London, Ontario, I grew from junior frontend developer to full-stack engineer (Sep 2019 – Jul 2023)—shipping React, TypeScript, WordPress, and Go products with outcomes that included 30% higher engagement, 20% faster page loads, and 15% better retention. Today I am Production Supervisor at Dajcor Aluminum in Chatham, supervising aluminum extrusion operations while partnering with IT on Ignition by Inductive Automation, SCADA visibility, and AI-assisted automations that reduce manual work on the line. Whether the deliverable is a Next.js app, a Go API, or a plant-floor dashboard, I am the engineer who understands both the pull request and the production schedule.

Juby worked for me as a software developer from May 2020 - September 2020. During this time, he wrote code and completed both frontend and backend web development work. His responsibilities included requirements gathering, analysis and design of Web applications using a variety of technologies such as WordPress, CSS, HTML, Python, Go, Django Rest Framework, JavaScript, Secure shell (SSH), SQL, cloud service providers such as Digital Ocean Bluehost. Frontend frameworks like React, used with TypeScript which ensures scalability. Static site generator using Hugo, deployed to Surge. He has continued to impress me with the quality of his work, his ability to take the initiative, without being prompted, and to provide suggestions for improvements and ongoing enhancements. When presented with a problem, he is able to assess the problem, research different options, assess the pros and cons of these various options, test out multiple implementations, and provide a solution, quickly and efficiently. He is an innovator and entrepreneur with a great future ahead of him. He has proven himself to be a dependable employee and a hard worker with solid problem solving and technical skills. Juby not only met deadlines but also explained his approach and solutions clearly in a way that non-experts can understand. Juby takes his work very seriously and is an incredible learner, continually learning new languages, tools and methodologies to stay abreast of the newest developments in his area of expertise. However, while Juby is a fast learner, he is also very careful and cautious about his work.
